We have yet to hear of firm reunion plans, but the classes of 1960, 61 and 62 have discussed the possibility of a combined reunion in 2022 since the classes of 1960 and 1961 had no reunions due to Covid.

Class of ’76 will be delaying one year and celebrating the 1st anniversary of its 45th reunion in 2022. No specific date has been set but stay tuned.

Class of ’65 will be celebrating in August 2021, details forthcoming.

Graduating seniors will have a mixture of events this year: a virtual awards ceremony (June 1) and in-person dinner and prom in mid-May on the newly-renovated Memorial Field. Graduation is planned for June 5 at Memorial Field (rain date June 6) and the ceremony will be live-streamed.

The Alumni Association thanks the class of 1948 for the donation of the remainder of their “reunion fund” at the recent passing of their Treasurer, Mel Rockey.

At least 42% of Centre County residents are now fully vaccinated and things here in Happy Valley are beginning to open up.  The SPIKES baseball team has begun playing; there will be a somewhat different July 4th display and PSU football games will return as usual.
